WCTV reports that a gentleman who went to the pump to fill up his vehicle had his credit card charged over $81 billion for his trouble. $81 Billion Gasoline Bill
Juan Zamora recently topped off his tank for his weekly commute and he thought he’d put in 90-dollars worth of gas.
Then, he received an automated call from his credit card company checking a pre-authorization at a gas station for the amount of 81-billion, 400-million, 836-thousand, 908-dollars.
Zamora says he was told the company used the merchant number and not the dollar figure from the pump.
